23. Fairwater
Cardiff’s Fairwater district is just beside Llandaff, and its name means dark wood. 24. Ely

Still, the residents are eager to improve its reputation by citing that it’s a large and close-knit community. It is complete with all amenities and is easily accessible via bus and taxi.

25. Caerau

26. Lisvane

27. Llanishen
This district, located in the northern part of Wales’ capital, is a suburb surrounded by tranquil green surroundings. 28. Rhiwbina

30. Morganstown & Radyr
The third town with the highest house price in Cardiff is Morganstown and Radyr, located in Cardiff’s northern part. Since it’s one of the most expensive places to live in, owning a home in this area can be costly.

The train takes 10 minutes to arrive from Radyr to Cardiff City Centre but taking a bus would double the time you’d be able to spend on the travails. A bus would travel slower and take around 24 minutes of travel.

31. Gwaelod Y Garth
Situated between Pentrych and Tongwynlais, this area is just a tiny village at Cardiff’s edges that offers a reasonable house price to everyone.

Travelling from this town down to Cardiff City Centre would take 27 minutes via bus, 14 minutes via train, but if you’re driving for yourself or taking a taxi, it would only be around 12 minutes.

32. Pentyrch
This district may be located on Cardiff’s outskirts, but the average house price in this area is £368,042, making it the second area with the highest house price in Cardiff next to Lisvane. 33. Creigiau
Creigiau is a community situated beside Pentyrch, the second district with the highest average house price. It’s a rural electoral ward at the western edge of Cardiff and has a higher average house price than other areas.

Travelling through a bus from Creigiau to the City Centre would take 28 minutes via bus, but you can save 14 minutes less if you’d opt for a taxi or drive yourself to the Centre.
34. Tongwynlais
This district situated between two of the most high-priced areas is a quiet suburb with a village-like feel. Since it’s just a 2-minute drive from Castell Coch, this area is well-known for its majestic Gothic castle.
